Jim Jam biscuits

Ingredients
Wheat flour-1/2 cup
Maida-1/2 cup
Butter-1/2 cup
Powdered sugar-1/2 cup
Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp
Baking powder- 1/4 tsp
Baking soda-a pinch
Salt a pinch
Milk-1/4 cup
Mixed fruit jam-5tbsp
Cream
Butter-3tbsp(at room temp)
Powdered sugar-1/2cup
Vanilla essence-1/2tsp
Milk-a drop
Method
Mix flour baking soda baking powder salt sugar and add butter and mix well till it resembles bread crumbs.Add milk little by little and form a dough.Roll out like chapati and cut rounds using a cookie cutter or a round lid.On half of the round ones make a hole at the middle using a small lid.You can do your desired shapes.
Bake them at 180c in a preheated oven for 20mins.
Your upper and lower layer biscuits are ready.Once they cool spread cream (combine the ingredients given under cream.and beat till fluffy) and jam on lower layer of plain biscuit and cover with the one with hole.Likewise do with all the other biscuits.Your yummy jim jam biscuits are ready...It stays fresh and crisp if stored in airtight container.
