Orange Rolls
Recipe
Ingredients
Maida-1 1/4 cup
Warm milk-1/4 cup
Yeast-1tsp
Sugar-1tbsp
Orange juice-1/2 cup
Butter-1/4 cup
salt to taste
Filling
Orange pulp of the squeezed orange-1/4 cup
Sugar-1/3 cup or as you like it sweet
Butter-1tbsp
Frosting
Cream cheese-2tbsp
Orange juice-1tbsp
powdered sugar-1tbsp
Method
Proof yeast in warm milk and sugar.To flour add salt butter and mix well...add proofed yeast milk and knead add orange juice and knead..you will require a little water too to knead into a smooth dough.Once knead keep in warm place for raising for two hours.After two hours punch out air in them and knead again and roll to a rectangle shape..Mix orange pulp butter and sugar and apply on the rectangle shape rolled dough equally.Roll the dough gently and cut using a thread or knife.Keep again for proofing for an hour.After an hour bake them for 25mins in a preheated oven on 190c.Adjust mins according to your oven type.It shouldnt get burnt.
Notes:I used a big orange for juice and the same orange pulp for filling.So no wastage😊
Your yummy orange roll is ready.Its crispy out and soft and orangish buttery inside.Has a divine taste😍You can mix the ingrdients under icing and use as topping on rolls as its hot....😍
