Black Forest cake

Ingredients
Maida-2cups
Sugar-1 1/2 cups
Cocoa powder-3/4 cup unsweetened
Instant coffee powder-2tbsp
Baking soda-1 1/2 tsp
Baking powder-1tsp
Milk-1 cup
Veg oil-1/2 cup
Hot water-3/4cup
Eggs-2
Vanilla essence-1 1/2tsp
Salt a pinch
For layering
Whipped cream-2 cups
Sugar-5tbsp or more if you want more sweetness
Vanilla essence-1tsp
Cherries in sugar syrup fresh or canned
Chocolate shavings or grated half cup

Method
Preheat oven to 180c.Combine and seive flour cocoa powder salt baking soda baking powder and mix sugar to it.Beat egg milk oil and essence together well.Dissolve coffee powder to hot water and keep.Mix the beaten mixture to flour mixture well..do not overbeat..add in the coffee mixture and mix.Pour into greased cake pan and bake for 40mins or until tooth pick comes clean.Cool the cake on rack
.Meanwhile beat whipped cream sugar and essence till stiff peak forms.
Once cake is cooled..cut the raised top to make it flat and cut cake in middle to three halves for layering.Start layering by keeping on your cake tray.You will have to take first cut piece apply cherry in sugar syrup first then whipped cream..keep next layer repeat likewise all four layers then cover them with cream and smoothen.Pipe ur desired designs on top sprinkle your chocolate shavings.decorate with cherries.refrigerate till use.your yummy black forest cake is ready.
