Puranpoli/Boli pinwheel cookies

Ingredients
Wheat flour-3/4 cup
Chana dal-1/4 cup
Water-1/3cup
Sugar-1tbsp
Butter-2tbsps
Curd-1tbsp
Brown sugar-2/3cup
Cardamom powder-1tsp
Baking powder-a pinch
Method
Dry roast chana dal and powder it.Heat a pan and add water and powdered chana dal..along with sugar and stir until it forms a smooth mass.Add in 1/3 tsp cardamom powder stir and switch off flame.
Cream butter and brown sugar add curd and mix...seive and add flour and baking soda and a pinch of salt and form a smooth dough.Roll out the dough and spread chana dal paste throughout and roll it fully and Cover with clingwrap












Wrap and refrigerate for 30minutes.
Preheat oven to 180c.
Cut small rounds from roll and place on greased lined baking tray.
Bake for 20-25minutes.Your yummy puranpoli/boli pinwheel cookies are ready...
