Eggless wheat Badam/Almond cake

Ingredients
Wheat flour-1 cup
Badam soaked dried and powdered or badam meal-1/2 cup
Butter-2 tbsp
Brown sugar-3/4 cup
Yoghurt-3/4 cup
Baking powder-1tsp
Baking soda-1/2tsp
Salt a pinch
Vanilla or almond essence-1tsp (i used vanilla)
Almond shavings to garnish on top
Method
Preheat oven to 180c.
Seive flours baking soda baking powder and salt and keep aside.
Combine butter and brown sugar and mix well.Add yoghurt to this and mix well without lumps and also add in essence.
Now in three batches add the seived dry ingredients mixture and fold in.
Pour the batter to greased pan and garnish with badam shavings on top.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes ie till the toothpick inserted in center comes clean
Adjust oven temperature and timing as per your oven type.Mine is a cooking ramge oven so is slower.
