Butter Chicken

Ingredients
Chicken boneless(i used with bones )-1/2kg
Marination
Yoghurt-1tbsp
Lime juice-1tsp
Chilly powder-1tsp
Turmeric-1/2tsp
Coriander powder-1tsp
Fennel powder-1tsp
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Gravy
Onion-1 sliced
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Tomato-1big sliced
Cinnamon-1inch stick
Cloves-5
Cardamom-2
Cumin seeds-1/2tsp
Chilly powder-1tsp
Coriander powder-1tsp
Heavy cream-2tbsp
Butter-a cube to garnish
Sugar-1/3tsp
Salt required
Method
Cut the chicken to small pieces clean wash and marinate with the ingredients given under marination for minimum 2 hours.
After two hours spread the pieces on lined greased tray and bake for 20 mins at 180c or shallow fry them(i baked).
Meanwhile in 2tbsps of butter saute whole spices (cinnamon cumin clove and cardamom) and add onion saute till translucent then add ginger garlic saute add tomato and cook till oil seperates and grind this mixture.
Now heat the pan and saute the ground mixture till the raw smell goes away and add the powders ie chilly coriander and saute add required water and salt and when it boils add the baked chicken pieces and cover and boil till gravy thickens.
Add heavy cream and sugar mix and cook for a minute and switch off after adjusting salt.
Serve with a cube of butter garnished on top and if desired a drop of heavycream drizzled or cilantro.
