Butterscotch fresh cream cake

Cake
All purpose flour-1 1/2cup
Firmly packed brown sugar-3/4cup
Veg oil-1/4cup
Egg-1
Milk-1/2cup
Sugar-1/3cup
Baking powder-1tsp
Vanilla essence-1 1/2tsp
Salt a pinch
Frosting
Butterscotch sauce
Butter-2tbsp
Brown sugar-1/4cup
Heavy cream-1/4cup
Salt a pinch
Icing
Fresh cream-1cup
Icing sugar-1/4cup
Vanilla essence-1tsp
Method
Cake
Preheat oven to 180c.
Beat yolk seperately till fluffy then beat in oil milk and essence.Add seived flour baking powder brown sugar and salt and mix well with the yolk mixture.
Now beat egg white along with sugar till fluffy and pale white.
Now slowly fold in the egg white to the yolk flour mixture uniformly.
Now pour the batter into the greased line pan and bake for 45 minutes till toothpick inserted in the middle comes clean.
Keep the cake on rack to cool.
Meanwhile prepare butterscotch sauce.Heat butter add brown sugar and heavy cream and salt and stir well and let it simmer.Switch off flame then and let it cool.
Beat heavy cream.along with icing sugar and vanilla essence till stiff peak forms and keep it ready.
Once cake is cooled cut into half if and pour some butterscotch sauce on each half and spread icing throughout.Pipe in your desired designs and slowly spread the rest of butterscotch sauce on top.
Refrigerate and serve your yummy butterscotch cake...
