Kaju Pista Biscuits

Ingredients
All purpose flour-3/4 cup
Custard powder-1tbsp
Powdered sugar-1/2cup
Baking powder-1/2tsp
Salt a pinch
Butter-50gms
Rose or vanilla essence-1/2tsp
Cardamom powder-1/2tsp
Milk-1tbsp
Cashew powdered-2tbsp
Cashew&pista crushed-3tbsp
Method
Seive flour custard powder salt and baking powder and keep aside.
Cream butter and powdered sugar well.Add cashew powder cardamom and essence and the seived dry ingredients little by little and mix to form a firm dough(i used 1 tbsp milk as my dough was a bit dry..add milk only if you require to knead a firm dough).
Now add in crushed cashew and pista leaving aside 1 tbsp of it aside for later garnish.
Now form the dough into a log shape and wrap in cling paper seal the sides and refrigerate for 30 mins.
After 30 minutes preheat oven to 180c.
Take out the firm log shaped dough and cut slices of doughs and place on lined baking tray.Sprinkle rest of crushed cashew and pista on top of each dough disc and press slightly.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Your delicious Kaju pista biscuits are ready.
