Karachi Biscuits

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 cup
Powdered Sugar-1/2 cup
Custard Powder-3tbsps
Butter-50gms
Milk-2-3tbsps
Baking powder-1/4tsp
Salt a pinch

Rose essence or pine apple essence-1tsp

Method

Seive flour salt and baking powder custard powder together and add tuttifrooti to it and mix and keep aside.
Cream butter and powdered sugar.Add 2 tbsp milk and essence to it and mix.Now little by little add the dry ingredients kept aside to this and start mixing.Knead to form a firm dough.If it feels dry add the remaing milk and knead.
Now divide the dough into two portions and shape like a log and wrap each log in cking paper and refrigerate for two hours.
After two hours preheat oven at 180c.
Take the dough logs and cut into thin round discs and place them in lined greased tray.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
Your delicious Karachi Biscuits are ready.
Store in airtight container.
