Ingredients
All purpose flour-1cup
Yeast-3/4tsp
Butter-1tsp
Warm milk-1/3cup
Sugar-1tsp
Salt a pinch
Method
Proof yeast by adding it to warm milk along with sugar and keep it aside for 10 minutes in warm place.
After 10 minutes take the frothy fermented yeast mixture and add it to flour along with a pinch of salt and knead well to form a smooth soft dough also mixing in butter.
Now keep this dough in greased bowl covered with cling wrap in a warm place for 1 1/2hour.
After 11/2hour take the doubled up dough punch out air and knead for a minute and divide into small balls and keep on greased lined tray for 35minutes.After 35 minutes take the proofed balls smoothen it to small log like pieces and do egg wash on top and keep again for 20 minutes to proof.
After 20 minutes preheat oven to 230c take scissor and snip cuts on the proofed pieces and do egg wash once more and sprinkle some sugar on top and bake for 7 to 9 minutes.
