Coconut cake

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 1/2 cup
Butter-1 stick
Granulated sugar-1cup
Buttermilk-3/4cup
Egg-2
Baking powder-1tsp
Vanilla essence-1tsp
Shredded coconut-1/4 cup
Salt a pinch
Method
Preheat oven to 180c.
Seive flour baking powder and salt and keep aside.
Beat butter and sugar till fluffy.Add one by one egg and beat till fluffy.Add essence and mix well.
To this mixture add flour alternating with buttermilk and fold in.Add shredded coconut also and fold in.
Pour the smooth batter to lined greased pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes ie till the skewer or toothpick inserted in the cake comes clean.
Your delicious Coconut cake is ready.
