Luqaimat with dates syrup/Dumplings

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 cup
Instant yeast-1tsp
Warm milk-1/2cup
Yoghurt-1tbsp
Sugar-1tsp
Corn flour-1tbsp
Turmeric-1tsp(optional for colour)
Dates syrup
Dates pitted-12
Water
Firmly packed brown sugar-1tsp
Salt a pinch
Method
Mix flour corn flour yeast sugar yoghurt turmeric salt and add warm milk and form a thick batter.
Keep covered with cling wrap in a warm place for an hour to raise.
Soak dates in water for 2hours beforehand.
After an hour heat oil.Take the raised batter grease your palms in oil and take a small pinch of batter and drop into hot oil.Likewise fry each pinch of batter.It will puff up big.
Keep aside.
After two hours mash the dates in water strain and take out the juice and start boiling adding brown sugar till its thick.
Serve the yummy Luqaimat hot with dates syrup.
