Ingredients
Wheat flour-1cup
Sugar-1cup
Cocoa powder-1/4cup
Milk-1/2cup
Boiled hot water-1/2cup
Egg-1
Oil-1/4cup
Instant coffee powder-1tsp
Baking powder-1tsp
Baking soda-1/2tsp
Vanilla essence-1tsp
Salt a pinch
Method
Preheat oven to 180c.
Take all the ingredients in a bowl leaving aside the hot water alone.
Now using a manual whisk or beater beat the ingredients till well combined.
Now add hot water and combine.The batter will be runny.
Pour the batter to a lined greased pan and bake for 30 minutes ie till toothoick inserted at middle of cake comes out clean.
Cool on rack.
