Kesar Burfi
Recipe
Ingredients
Milk powder-2cups
Sugar-1 1/2 cups
Water-2/3cup
Butter-2tbsp
Saffron soaked in warm milk-a pinch plus some for garnish
Almonds and pistachios sliced
A greased plate(with ghee)
Method
Boil sugar and water till you get one string consistency(ie when you take syrup between your thumb finger and pointing finger and leave it forms a string)..now add milk powder saffron milk and butter and keep stirring till it reaches idly batter consistency.
Now shift this to the greased plate and spread .Sprinkle nuts and saffron on top and leave it undisturbed for 30 minutes.
After that make marks cut and serve.
Its a fudgy type of burfi but too yum😍
