Dulce de leche Cake

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1cup/120gms
Butter-1/4cup/85gms
Sugar-3/4gms/150gms
Egg-2
Milk-3/4cup
Baking powder-2tsp
Vanilla essence-1/2tsp
Dulce de leche-198gms
Salt a pinch
Dulce de leche/toffee buttercream icing
Butter-120gms
Dulce de leche-150gms
Heavy cream-1tbsp
Flour-1tbsp seived
Icing sugar-2cups
Method
Cake
Preheat oven to 180c.
Grease and line a pan.
Seive flour with salt and baking powder.
Beat butter and sugar till well combined.Add egg one by one and beat till pale and fluffy.To this add dulce de leche and beat well along with essence.
Now add flour to this wet mixture in batches alternating with milk and fold in.
Pour the batter in lined greased pan and bake for 40 to 45minutes ie till the toothpick inserted comes out clean.Adjust bake time as per your oven heat.Mine us a cooking range oven.
Dulce de leche/toffee buttercream
Meanwhile combine all the ingredients given under buttercream recipe and beat till you get soft fluffy cream.
Once cake is done cool on rack.
Cut layers drip sugar syrup on layers and start icing with buttercream.
Design as you wish.I caramelised sugar and carved out letters and leaves.
Your yummiest dulce de leche cake is ready😍
