Dates/Khajur &Nuts Roll

Ingredients
Pitted Dates-200gms
Nuts-1/3cup(cashews,pistachios,almonds chopped)
White sesame seeds or poppy seeds-2tbsp dry roasted
Cardamom powder-a pinch
Ghee-2tbsp
Method
Crush the pitted dates in blender coarsely.Heat ghee in pan and roast nuts and keep aside.
In the same pan pour little more ghee and drop the coarsely ground dates and cook on low flame.It slowly starts getting smoother.Add roasted nuts and cardamom powder to this and combine.
Once cooked and becomes a mass switch off flame and transfer to a bowl to cool down a bit.
Grease your palms with a drop of ghee and roll the mass as it is warm to log shape.Spread dry roasted white sesame or poppy seeds on a plate and roll the dates roll over it to coat.
Once it is shaped rolled and cooled down wrap it in aluminium foil seal sides and refrigerate for an hour or two.
Take out and cut into 1 inch discs.Store in an airtight container and enjoy relishing the yummies..
