Dhadak pound cake

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 cup
Butter at room temp-100gms
Sugar-1cup
Egg-3
Heavy cream-1/4cup
Baking powder-3/4tsp
Salt a pinch
Cashews,raisins and glazed cherry-1tbsp each
Vanilla&pineapple essence-1/2tsp each(this combi gives dhadak flavour)
Method
Preheat oven to 180c and grease and line a cake pan.
Seive flour,baking powder and salt and keep aside.
Take butter and sugar in a bowl and beat till combined.Add egg one by one and beat well till pale and fluffy.Add both essences and combine.
To this add seived mixture in batches along with heavy cream and fold in.Reserving few cashew,raisins and glazed cherry for topping add the rest to batter and combine.
Transfer the batter to the pan tap on counter to release air bubbles and sprinkle the reserved cashews,raisins and glazed cherry on top.
Bake for 45 minutes or as per your oven heat till done.
Insert a toothpick to check doneness.If it comes clean cake is done.
Cool on rack and cut and relish😋the Dhadak pound cake😍😋
