Restaurant style Pepper Chicken Curry

Ingredients
Chicken-500gms
Marination
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Pepper powder-1tsp
Lime juice-1/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Gravy
Onion sliced-1
Ginger garlic crushed-1tsp
Green chilly-1 sliced
Tomato-1chopped
Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
Coriander powder-2tbsp
Crushed pepper-11/2tbsp
Fennel powder-1/4tsp
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Curry leaves-1tbsp
Coriander leaves-handful chopped
Coconut milk-1/4cup
Salt as needed
Method
Marination
Marinate the cleaned chicken pieces with the ingredients given under marination and keep aside for 30 minutes.
Gravy
After 30 minutes,heat coconut oil in pan saute onion till transclucent,add crushed ginger garlic and green chilly and saute.Add tomato and saute till oil seperates.Add the spice powders like turmeric powder,coriander powder,fennel powder,garam masala(reserve a pinch from it for final step),pepper(reserve 1/2tsp for final step) and combine well and saute till raw smell goes away.Add marinated chicken pieces,curry leaves and half of chopped coriander leaves and cover and cook.Water will ooze out from chicken as it cooks.
Once cooked and gravy thickened to desired level,add the reserved pimch of garam masala,pepper,coriander leaves along with coconut milk.Adjust salt give a stir and switch off.
