Ingredients
Kataifi dough-1cup
Ghee-2tbsps
Sugar syrup
Sugar-1/2cup
Water-1/4cup
Cardamom powder-1/4tsp
Saffron-a pinch
Garnish
Silvered piatachios and almonds-1tbsp each
Method
Preheat oven to 180c.
Take kataifi dough in a bowl and add ghee and combine.Cover it with a tea towel to prevent it from becoming dry.

Sugar syrup
Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar with water till dissolved.Add cardamom powder and sfafron and switch off.

Now arrange the kataifi in ghee in a cake pan and press it down.Bake for 20 minutes or as per your oven heat.It has to be cooked.(I used a gas oven hence took 20mins).

Once done take out the pan and drizzle sugar syrup throughout.Using a flat laddle gently lift and transfer sutarfeni to a plate and drizzle remaining syrup on top and garnish with silvered pistachios and almonds.

Your very yummy Sutarfeni is ready😍

(If you do not wish for a baked version,you can arrange the kataifi dough with ghee in a wide ladle and dip in hot oil for 15-20secs and take out.Its done.Then drizzle syrup and garnish).
