Puran poli/Boli

Ingredients
Maida-1/2 cup
Water required to form a soft dough with maida)
Chana dal-1/2cup (soaked and later pressure cooked)
Sugar-1/2cup
Cardamom-1/2tsp
Turmeric powder-1tsp
Oil
Salt to taste
Method
To flour add a pinch of salt,turmeric powder and adding water little by little knead a smooth dough and pour 1 tbsp oil on it and keep it aside covered with cling wrap for an hour.
Meanwhile take the 1 hour soaked and cooked chana dal and grind it in mixie without any water.Heat a pan add a drop of ghee and add the chana dal paste along with sugar and stir and cook till it starts thickening and add cardamom powder.Once it becomes like a dough consistency switch off flame.Take care not to burn it.
Heat tawa make lemon sized balls of maida and chana dal dough.Keeping on plastic sheet greased with oil roll out a flour dough slightly and keep one chana dal ball on it and cover it with flour dough and using your hands seal it and start flattening it using your fingers greased with oil to a round shape.Start cooking the flattened ones on tawa flipping sides taking care not to burn it.
Likewise so with the rest of the dough balls and chana dal balls.
Your yummy Puran poli/Boli is ready.You can even have it with vermicelli /semiyakheer..😍😊
