Shahi Tukda

Recipe
Ingredients
Milk-1 1/2cup
Bread-3slices(i used homemade)
Saffron-a pinch
Cardamom powder-1/2tsp
Sugar-5tbsp
Ghee-3tbsp
Sugar syrup
Sugar-1/3 cup
Water-1/3cup
Method
Boil milk along with saffron and sugar.Stir in between.Let it boil until it reduces to half its quantity and thicker.Keep stirring in between to avoid burning at bottom.Add cardamom when you switch off.
Prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water till its completely dissolved.
Now take the bread slices (classic recipe triangle shape is made)..be creative if you like cut out shapes and shallow fry them in ghee.The rest of bread crumbs you get when you make shapes add a little water and make balls and fry them too in ghee.
Now while serving take the shallow fried bread pieces dip in sugar syrup then drop them into the rabri (the thickened reduced saffron milk).
Your delicious Shahi tukda is ready...
