Bakery style Chicken Roll
Recipe
Ingredients
Boneless chicken-1/4cup (cooked with turmeric,chilly powder&pepper and shredded in mixer jar)
Onion-1chopped
Ginger garlic-1tsp
Turmeric powder-a pinch
Chilly powder-1tsp
Garam masala-1/2tsp
Coriander powder-1tsp
Tomato sauce-1tsp
Dough
All purpose flour-1 1/2 cup
Instant yeast-1tsp
Warm milk or water-3/4cup
Sugar-a pinch
Salt a pinch
Egg-1
Oil/butter-2tbsp
Bread crumbs
Method
Dough
Take flour yeast sugar salt butter egg yolk(keep egg white aside ) in a bowl and mix and pour warm milk or water and knead to firm a smooth dough
Cover the dough in a greased bowl and keep it in a warm place for 45minutes to raise.
Filling
Heat oil and saute onion and ginger garlic..add the spice powders and cooked shredded chicken and a little water and cook well.Adjust salt and add tomato sauce mix and switch off flame.
After 45 minutes take the raised dough ounch out air and divide to 8 portions and flatten each portion in your palm and keep filling seal and shape into roll as shown in pic below.
Now mix little water in egg white kept aside earlier and dip the shaped filled dough into it and roll in bread crumbs and place on tray.
Keep this aside for 15 minutes again fir a second raise.
Now heat oil and fry flipping sides till golden and drain in tissue.
Serve hot.Yummy..
