Jam Biscuits
Recipe
All purpose flour-1 1/2cup
Butter-1/2cup melted
Powdered sugar-3/4cup
Egg-1
Baking powder-a pinch
Pineapple or vanilla essence-1tsp
Salt a pinch
Topping
Melted jam-2tbsps
Method
Preheat oven to 180c.
Line a baking tray.
Mix and combine powdered sugar and egg well.Add melted butter and essence and combine well.To this add flour baking powder and salt and knead to a firm dough.
Now take a lemon sized dough ball in your palms flatten and shape and make a deep impression at middle and make deaigns around as you wish.
Place them on lined tray.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
Once done keep on rack to cool.
Melt jam and drop it into each impression of biscuits we made at middle.
Store in airtight container once cooled and enjoy your yum jam biscuits.
