Orange Curd
Ingredients
Egg yolk-2
Sugar-1/4cup
Orange juice from 1 orange
Orange zest from one orange
Butter-11/2tbsp
Method
Take egg yolks and sugar in a pan and combine well.Add orange juice and zest to it and combine well again. Now keep this pan in low flame and keep stirring and cooking till it thickens enough but doesnt curdle. Now switch off flame once done and add butter and mix well. Keep the orange curd to cool.Then transfer to a bowl and cover with cling wrap and store in refrigerator.You can use them in icecreams,pie,tarts,roulades etc. You can use up the egg whites you seperated to make meringues.
