Original Restaurant style Munnar chicken curry

 Ingredients

Chicken -500gms (small pieces)
 Whole spices-cardamom-2,cloves-3,2 1 inch cinnamon sticks and a bayleaf
 Onion chopped-2
 Ginger garlic crushed or paste-1 tsp each Turmeric powder-a pinch
Kashmiri chilli powder-1tsp
 Kasmiri dry red chilly flakes-2tsp(if normal 1 tsp would be enough)
 Tomato-1chopped
 First coconut milk-1/2cup
Second coconut milk-1cup
 Soaked cashew-5 to 6
Salt as needed
 Seasoning
 Shallots-5 chopped
 Dry red chilly-2 to 3
Curry leaves

 Method

Grind the soaked cashews to paste and keep aside. Heat oil in pan saute the whole spices,add onion and saute till transclucent.Add ginger garlic crushed and saute. Now add turmeric,chilli powder and dry red chilli flakes and saute.Add tomato and saute till mushy.Add chicken pieces and second coconut milk and required salt and mix and cover and cook on low flame. Once cooked add first coconut milk and cashew paste,mix and cook for 2 minutes and switch off. Season Heat coconut oil in pan.Saute shallots dry red chilli and curry leaves and drop into curry. Mix and serve with chapathi/naan/porotta/pulao. Yum😋
