Recipe

Ingredients

Badam pisin-4 nos to be soaked in 2 cups water overnight

Caramel milk
Milk-1 litre full fat
Sugar-1/3cup
Water-4tbsps

Caramel icecream
Whipping cream-1cup
Caramel milk-1/4cup
Condensed milk-1/2cup
Milk powder-2tbsp

Nannari syrup-2tsp each glass

Method

Caramel milk
Boil milk in a heavy bottomed vessel till it reduces 3/4th.Meanwhile heat sugar till it melts snd caramelises,keep stirring.Pour water into it with care and stir till combined.Now add this caramel syrup to the boiling milk and add sugar if you need more sweetness and let it further boil for another 7 minutes and switch off.Let it cool down.

Caramel icecream

Beat whipping cream till it reaches stiff peaks.Add cooled down caramel milk (1/4cup) and condensed milk and milk powder and beat well.It becomes fluffy.Transfer it to a airtight container and freeze overnight.

Assembly

Take a tall glass add bloomed and doubled badam pisin(3 tbsps) then nannari syrup.To this add caramel milk to 3/4th of glass.Add scoop of caramel icecream and serve.Our delicious jil jil jigarthanda is ready..
