Thumbprint Jam biscuits

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 cup
Butter at room temp-1/2cup
Powdered sugar-1/2cup
Vanilla essence-a drop
Salt a pinch

Jam-2 tbsps(mixed fruit jam)
Milk-1tsp

Method

Preheat oven to 180c and line a tray.

Combine butter and sugar well.Add essence and combine.To this add flour and salt and mix well with spatula.Ads 1 tsp milk to bind and knead to form firm dough.Add more milk if required to bind.
Make lemon sized balls and place on tray.Make a thumb imprinted hole on it without breaking the dough ball.Scoop in jam in the holes.
Bake for 15 minutes.

Our yummy thumbprint jam biscuits are ready.Cool on rack and store.
