Cream Kunafa

Ingredients
Kunafa dough-2cups
Melted butter-1/3 cup
Milk-1/2cup
Heavy cream-1/2cup
Corn starch-1tbsp
Maida-1tbsp
Sugar-4tbsp
Rose essence
Sugar syrup
Sugar-1/2 cup
Water-1/2cup
Lemon juice-1/2tsp
Rose essence-1/2tsp
Method
Take the kunafa dough and crush it when it is semi frozen and add melted.butter and mix well.Boil milk and heavy cream add sugar corn starch maida and keep stirring till it thickens and switch off flame and let it cool.
Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup by boiling sugar in water add lemon juice and once sugar completely dissolves let it boil a bit more and switch off add rose essence.
Preheat oven to 180c.
In a greased pan arrange one half of kunafa dough at bottom and press well with a flat lid.On this pour the cooled filling.And top it with the other half of kunafa dough and press mildly.
Bake for 35mins and switch off oven and pour half of syrup on the kunafa and let it remain in th oven for twenty mins.
Serve with syrup on top as needed.
