Honeycomb Bread/Khaliat Nahal



Ingredients
Bread
All purpose flour-2 cup
Active dry yeast-2tsps
Warm milk -3/4cup
Sugar-1tbsp
Butter-2tbsps
Salt a pinch

Honey syrup
1/2cup sugar and 1/3 cup water to be boiled and add 1/2tsp honey once sugar is dissolved.switch off flame and add a pinch of saffron.
Keep syrup ready before your bread is done.

Method
Bread
Proof yeast in warm milk and sugar and pour into the flour and mix well.Now add butter and start kneading till dough is soft and supple.
Keep the dough in a greased bowl covered with cling wrap in warm place for 1 1/2hours to raise.
After 1 1/2hours take the raised dough and punch out air and knead for 2 to 3 minutes and kneading you need to divide tiny balls and keep tiny cubes of cream cheese inside and seal with dough and shape and keep on pan or tray to raise for 45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 200c.
Do milk or egg wash on top.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes till done.
Immediately pour honey syrup on top.
