Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake

Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 1/2cup
Sugar-3/4cup
Butter-1/3cup(at room temp)
Egg-1
Yoghurt-1/2cup
Lemon juice-1tbsp
Vanilla essence-1tsp
Lemon zest-1/2tsp
Baking powder-1tsp
Baking soda-1/4tsp
Blueberry-1/4cup dusted with flour
Method

Preheat oven to 180c and line a cake pan.

Seive flour,baking powder and baking soda and keep aside.
Beat butter and sugar well.Add egg and esswnce and beat till pale and fluffy.
To this add seived mixture in two batches alternating with the yoghurt and lemon juice.
Do not overbeat.You will get a thick batter.
Fold in the dusted blueberries and transfer to cake pan.
Bake for 40 minutes or as per your oven heat.I use a gas oven.

Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the middle of cake and if it comes out clean its done.

Cool in rack and cut.Your delicious blueberry lemon pound cake is ready😋
