Ingredients
All purpose flour-1 1/2cups
Yeast-1tsp(I used active dry yeast)
Lukewarm milk or water-2/3 cup
Sugar-2tsp
Milk powder-1tbsp
Veg oil-1tbsp or butter 1 tbsp
Salt a pinch
Your choice of chicken filling
I sauted onion added ginger garlic paste...then turmeric chilly powder coriander powder garam masala and sauted.Added cooked shredded chicken and adjusted salt and covered and cooked for 2 minutes.Added little tomato sauce and mixed and switched off flame.This was my filling.
Method
Mix yeast and sugar in lukewarm milk or water and keep aside for ten minutes to ferment.
Now to the flour add milk powder salt and oil or butter and mix well and add the fermented frothy yeast mixture and knead well till dough becomes smooth (around 7 minutes it took for me).
Now keep the dough in a oil greased vessel covered with cling wrap for 2 hours in a warm place.
After 2 hours take the doubled up dough punch out air and divide to 6 equal portions.
Roll out each portion in elongated manner and keep your choice of chicken filling and roll and seal sides and keep on lined tray.
Do egg wash on top and let it proof again for 35 minutes in warm place.
After 35 minutes preheat oven to 200c.
Do egg wash once again and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes as per your oven heat.
Your yummiest Hotdog bun with chicken filling is ready.
