Moong Dal Halwa

Recipe
Ingredients
Moong dal-1/2 cup (soak in water for 3hrs)
Ghee-1/4cup
Milk-3/4cup
Water-1/3cup
Sugar-1/2cup
Cardamom powder-1/2tsp
Rose essence-1/2tsp
A pinch of saffron soaked in warm milk
Cashews and raisins
Method
Grind the soaked moong dal into paste.Heat ghee in pan.Roast cashews and raisins in it and keep aside.To the same ghee add moong dal paste and stir and it will form crumbles.
To this add milk and water and keep stirring.When it starts thickening add sugar and stir.When it starts leaving sides of pan add cardamom powder rose essence and roasted cashews and raisins and mix  well and switch off flame.
Transfer to a bowl.
